Palash Mahbub is a seasoned media and communications professional with nearly 20 years of experience spanning television, newspapers, and international NGOs. His expertise covers journalism, public affairs, advocacy, campaign planning, and social media management. Having led television program teams, online news platforms, and INGO communication departments, he has a deep understanding of content development and creative execution across multiple media formats.
A prolific writer and playwright, Palash has authored 64 creative books and written over television dramas. He has also directed more than 1,600 TV productions, including reality shows, live concerts, events, talk shows, documentaries, and promotional content. His exceptional storytelling skills and innovative ideas have made a significant impact in the media and cultural landscape.
Palash has received several prestigious awards for his contributions to children's literature and creative writing, including the Bangladesh Shishu Academy Literary Award (National Award), the UNICEF Meena Award, the ACI-Ananda Alo Shishu Sahitto Puruskar, and the Anyadashongkar Roy Sahitto Puroskar (India).
He has also participated in multiple international training programs, such as the Global Broadcasting Content Producing and Distribution Training in Seoul, South Korea (2019), the Regional Workshop on Convergent Journalism in Beijing, China (2018), and the Script Writing and Production Design Workshop by the Thomson Foundation and British Council (2007).
