Mahbub Aziz is a senior Bangladeshi journalist with over 27 years of experience in national print media. He has served as Deputy Editor of The Daily Samakal since 2009, after holding key editorial positions at Jugantor and Jai Jai Din. Known for his sharp editorial judgment, leadership, and creative flair, he has led teams to produce widely acclaimed newspapers, special issues, and feature pages.

He has received prestigious honors including the TRAB Award (2002), CJFB Award (2013), City Ananda Alo Award (2015), and the Kharimati Award (2018). His career includes international media assignments in Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, and India.

Beyond journalism, he is a prolific writer with 20 published books spanning novels, short stories, poetry, and compilations. He is also engaged in film, drama, and television as a scriptwriter, director, and host.
